Carson Solutions currently offers a HMO with Open Access with zero deductible. Eligibility begins on first day of employment.
Long Term Disability Insurance
If you are a full-time, regular employee, you will be eligible to participate in the Carson Solutions long-term disability (LTD) plan. Disability insurance is designed to assist you with your income should you become partially or totally disabled and are unable to perform the essential functions of your job. Long Term disability insurance is an optional voluntary benefit paid through payroll deductions.
Short Term Disability Insurance
Carson Solutions offers optional voluntary Short Term Disability Insurance to all eligible employees paid through payroll deductions.
Carson Solutions offers optional voluntary life insurance to all of its employees equal to 1x their regular annual salary (up to $150,000) which is payable to their beneficiary (ies) in the event of their death. Employees may also purchase additional life insurance at group rates, which is paid through payroll deductions.
Eligible employees may participate in the 401k retirement savings program effective on the first day of the calendar quarter following their 90th day of employment with Carson Solutions. Within IRS guidelines, the 401k programs enable employees to save up to 15% of pay on a tax-deferred basis for retirement. Some of the features of the plan include investment elections from many diverse funds, loan capabilities, and convenient transaction processing by telephone.
Carson Solutions believes that our employees are best served if they take advantage of all means available to plan for their retirement. In order to encourage maximum participation in the retirement savings program, Carson Solutions offers to all eligible employees a matching contribution that will be made to all participating employees’ 401k funds. Carson Solutions will contribute a percentage of employees’ contribution up to 3%.
Carson Solutions, LLC management is very supportive of employees’ need to take other types of leave, including Military Leave of Absence, Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty and Witness Leave, Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), Personal Non-FMLA Leave of Absence, and Disability Leave covered by Workers’ Compensation Insurance. Carson Solutions, LLC believes that when you work hard, you need time to play hard, too. All employees earn 4 weeks of PTO for each calendar year. PTO is accrued for each pay period worked.
- Exempt employees will receive sick pay in compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws.
- PTO can be used as vacation time, sick or to take care of personal matters.
- Pay is not granted in lieu of taking the actual time off. However, PTO can be carried over to the following year. Employees can not have a PTO balance of more than 120 hours at a time.
- No more than two weeks of PTO can be taken at one time without special management approval.
Eligible employees who provide at least three weeks’ advance notice of their resignation will be paid for accrued but unused PTO, unless state law dictates otherwise. All other employees will not be paid for accrued but unused PTO upon termination.
At Carson Solutions, we know that our current employees are our best source for attracting and hiring new employees. In order to encourage our employees to refer qualified candidates, Carson Solutions offers up to $1,000 for every new candidate referred who is hired. Bonus amounts vary based on the type of the position filled as well as the number of referred candidates hired per individual employee.
Computer Purchase Program
Carson Solutions will provide an interest free loan up to $2,000 for the purchase of a personal computer (including related software and equipment). Semi-monthly payroll deductions are used for loan repayment. Eligibility begins after 90 calendar days of employment.
